Our Story

Hello! We are the founders of Fizzy Collective - a co working hair and beauty salon in Bristol. We are sisters who both work in the industry and wanted to create a beautiful, fair and sustainable place to work in, accessible to new parents, freelancers or anyone who can’t commit to a standard contract - limitations we are both familiar with. ‘Fizzy’ started as our hypothetical band - back in the days of X Factor and its awkward artist introductions - as it is the combination of our names. Sadly, we are not talented in the vocal department so we are now Fizzy Collective! We looked at the property in April 2024, signed our lease on the 1st May and were open by July - it’s been a whirlwind but we are so proud of what we have accomplished.

Flossie

Founder & Hairstylist

Flossie graduated from the Vidal Sassoon academy in London in 2012.  Since then she has worked in Australia and the UK, making Bristol her home in 2015.

In 2021, Flossie created her micro salon at home in St George to fit around family life and easing back to work after maternity and pandemic leave.

Flossie has worked in and managed a number of salons and has a great understanding of what it means to make a space work for everyone.
